TIPS
Sun Valley Airport TSA CLOSES at 4:30 PM and you MUST arrive 90 min before your flight takes off.
If you are flying out of Sun Valley Airport, and your flight is on time, TSA will not wait for you. They close daily at 4:30 PM. If your flight is delayed they MAY stay a little later but this is not guaranteed. You must also arrive 90 minutes at minimum to the airport if you have a checked bag and even with a carry on to be safe.
You are going to be at altitude, approx. 6,000’
For those that are not used to altitude, there is less oxygen up there. You will be out of breath faster and it may take about a day or two to acclimate. Drink more water than normal, and make sure to be careful with alcohol as it will hit you way harder! Also one thing to note, it is DRY. Good for powder but bring lotion and consider a travel humidifier.
